Bolakale Mallick

Mallick is a seasoned startup lawyer and entrepreneur based in Lagos, Nigeria with nearly a decade of experience in handling complex compliance, legal, regulatory, technological, and business transactions. He has played a significant role in the success of startups collectively valued at over $5 billion. Mallick is the co-founder of Regcompass, a startup consulting firm that leverages his extensive background in computer engineering, legal training, and compliance experience to assist regulated businesses in Africa to solve their legal and regulatory challenges, including the deployment of new technologies, licensing strategies, corporate restructuring, and more. He is also the co-founder of Applatch, a productivity and mental health startup, and Startbutton Africa, helping businesses expand in and across Africa with ease. Additionally, Mallick is a trustee of the Innovation Law Club Africa and Afrotechinsights, where he mentors young African lawyers in the field of tech law.
