Benjamin Shaw is a seasoned investment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in African markets. He graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BBusSci in Finance & Accounting and is an Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellow. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at JPMorgan Chase (2014-2015) before founding HouseME in 2016, a proptech platform that served 50,000 users, where he served as CEO until 2021. He currently serves as Senior Associate at EXEO Capital and holds leadership roles with Anza Capital, Balihle, and XVF. He is also an M&A Executive at NetEd Group and co-hosts the Shapers Africa Podcast. Ben has authored "The First Kudu" and his work has been published by Flux Trends. He was honored as one of South Africa's Brightest Young Minds in 2013 and represented South Africa in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
