Ben Rath

Ben Rath is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive specializing in business leadership and online education across Africa. He co-founded EduOne in 2015, building digital platforms for education sector challenges including scholarship management through EduFunding. He currently serves as Co-Founder and Head of Alumni at Maverix, an ed-tech platform for business leaders, and Co-Founder at Acumen for Business Leaders (ABL), an online coaching program enhancing personal and business effectiveness for African entrepreneurs and executives. Previously, he was CEO at Nava (2019-2021), a strategy and digital solutions firm focused on UN Sustainable Development Goals projects in education and healthcare. He also founded Miteri, a Cape Town shared workspace fostering collaboration among entrepreneurs. Based in Cape Town and Mauritius, he focuses on ambition, business models, strategy, and growth within the African business landscape.
