Belal EL-Megharbel

Belal El-Megharbel is the Co-Founder and CEO of MaxAB, a B2B e-commerce platform connecting food and grocery retailers with suppliers in Egypt and North Africa. Founded in 2018, MaxAB has grown to serve over 55,000 retailers and fulfills orders within 24 hours. Prior to MaxAB, he served as General Manager for Cairo and Alexandria at Careem, where he launched new services including Careem bikes. He also worked as Imports Operations Manager at ElETIHADYA for Development and Investment. El-Megharbel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech (2014) and attended the American University in Cairo (2009-2011). He is recognized as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and has successfully raised over $85 million in funding for MaxAB.
