Andrew Saad is an Egyptian doctor and entrepreneur who founded Bypa-ss in 2019, a health-tech startup digitizing health information exchange in Egypt. As CEO, he leads the company's mission to empower care providers and patients with unified medical records through their HealthTag platform. Inspired by a clinical experience during his medical internship where he encountered an elderly patient with no accessible medical history, Saad developed a solution that provides patients with a unified medical ID card connected to an online platform accessible by healthcare providers. The company joined Falak Startups accelerator program in February 2019 and has since grown to over 1,000 partners including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies across Egypt. Under his leadership, Bypa-ss raised $1 million in pre-seed funding in November 2021.
