Holding both British and South African citizenship, I am an experienced and seasoned Consumer Finance/Financial Services professional, with circa. 30 years in Consumer Finance/Financial Services of which I have 10 years in an Executive or C-level capacity. I have been involved in a number of start-ups over the last 10-12 years, including starting up a niche credit risk solutions & consultancy concern, which in itself was successful in assisting a number of start-ups in SA, an e-commerce / digital credit provider in South Africa and a number of FinTech/FinServ businesses in Africa and Asia. I am passionate about financial inclusion, especially in the emerging markets, and bringing innovation and product choice to the market - often using non-traditional means, methods and/or data to achieve such objectives. Furthermore, I strive to build and sustain a positive organizational culture as well as building, developing & mentoring the human capital therein. Career Objective: To work in a progressive, dynamic environment whereby my experience in credit risk & operational management, hands-on approach and my drive for results can add value in optimizing the performance of a credit risk organisation.
