Biography

Amany Fawzy (also known as Amani Fawzy) is the Chief Technology Operations Officer at Fawry, Egypt's leading digital transformation and e-payments platform. She leads technical operations for Fawry Integrated Services, managing datacenter, hardware, operating systems, middleware, databases, and in-house developed applications. With over 30 years of experience in the software industry, she held key technical management roles in multinational firms including 8 years at IBM Egypt as Product Development Manager, Technical Resources Deployment Manager, and Regional Resourcing Manager. She has also served as Chief Information Security Officer at Fawry. In 2021, she was recognized as a finalist for the Women in Cyber Security Middle East (WiCSME) Awards.
