Ahmed Mohsen is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of MNT-Halan, Egypt's first unicorn and leading fintech ecosystem. He has been responsible for the growth of the company's tech platform and design of its proprietary core banking software, Neuron, overseeing a team of over 100 engineers developing in-house digital solutions including AI applications and payment solutions. A serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in computer science, mathematics, computer security, artificial intelligence, and FinTech, he has founded multiple technology companies including MusiQ, CircleTie (where he served as CEO until 2013), and Sort6. He was a founding member of the Egyptian cybersecurity company SecureMisr, which was acquired by Cysiv in March 2020. Mohsen previously worked as a software engineer at IBM, where he helped develop the Commercial Registry Authority system, and has served as a mentor at Flat6Labs, mentoring over 20 startups.
