Abayomi is a creative Mobile Apps developer and an aficionado of edTech who is leveraging technology to drive Quality and Standard Education in Africa. As a computer programmer, he co-founded the Pass.ng platform at the age of 19 after discovering that there was a 70% failure rate for students sitting for the National University Entrance Exams. Pass.ng is available as a mobile, web and desktop app to help students learn, practise and be ready for these exams. To date, it has helped over 350,000 students pass their exams in one sitting. Abayomi, who holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science (with First-class Honours), is a Queen Elizabeth Young Leader for 2018, and a winner of the Future Award Africa Prize for Education for 2017. He also holds a Certificate of Competency in "Strategic Implementation of ICT Integration in Education" from the University of the Witwatersrand and he's the team-lead for HiClass, a Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) App which connects students with scholars who are willing to teach them online.
